Wisconsin Iron: Home of the Fond du Lac, Amboy & Peoria Railway


Welcome to Wisconsin Iron, home of the Fond du Lac, Amboy & Peoria Railway. The FAP was a narrow-gauge line built in central Wisconsin during the late 1870's. The FAP connected Fond du Lac to the standard gauge Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul line to the south. The FAP served the iron mines of Dodge County and the iron furnaces of Mayville.
